Since 2015, the IE Winter Ball is celebrated annually to bring all the IE Community together and to raise funds for a social cause and enjoy a magical night together.

TEDxIEMadrid

TEDxIEMadrid is a student-run independently organized TED event at IE. The first TEDxIEMadrid event was held on July 2015 and featured 9 Speakers on the topic of Shaking up the Order. IE Africa Day

IE Africa Day

The IE Africa Club is a collection of both African and Non-African students who are motivated to increase awareness of the African continent – including the myriad of opportunities that exist. Through the IE Africa Day, the Club aims to bring the continent’s rich culture to the fore and to demystify myths about the continent as the world becomes global.

IE Global Village

Global Village is one of IE’s most iconic festivals that celebrates the wealth of cultural diversity on the IE campus. During the event students from different countries provide information on tourism and cultural heritage, as well as organizing music and traditional dance. The funds raised through the sale of tickets for the event are used to fund the IE Social Responsibility Forum.

Chinese New Year Celebration

IE Chinese New Year Celebration

IE China Club organizes this event to celebrate the arrival of the Chinese New Year. The celebration usually includes various traditional Chinese performances such as dance acts, martial arts, Changing Face, the Beijing Opera and Chinese instrumental and vocal performances.

Make Art Work! Conference

IE Make Art Work conference is a joint effort between IE Arts & Business Club and IE Campus Life that aims to celebrate the value of Humanities at IE and bring together renowned companies, experts of the arts world and students interested in non-conventional business models and willing to deepen their knowledge in diverse arts fields.

LGBT at Work

Since 2006, IEOut Club, IE’s student-led LGBT organization, has proudly presented LGBT@Work, an annual conference hosting LGBT representatives from leading companies around the world. The goal of LGBT@Work is to promote the free exchange of ideas and provide a unique networking platform for LGBT students, professionals, and their allies. Speakers, sponsors, and attendees from all around the world join LGBT@Work, creating a truly international and welcoming learning experience.

IEU Sports Day

The afternoon for any sport lover. Undergraduate students hang out on a sport pavilion in either campus Madrid or Segovia where they can enjoy any type of sports as well as a small gymkhana.

IE Day is a celebration of the #iespirit. Campus Life invites the entire IE Community to come together and celebrate why #weareie. On this day, we all turn blue! Held directly at the IE Madrid Campus, IE Day is a social event, gathering students, staff, faculty, and alumni, who come together, participate in fun activities, share their favorite moments at IE, and of course create new moments together. An afternoon filled with GAMES, FOOD, RAFFLE PRIZES and many more surprises.

IE Diwali Festival

IE India Club coordinates the Diwali Festival, an event organized for IE students to share the Indian Culture. Attractions like Rangoli competition (artistic drawings with powder colors/ flowers), Indian dance performances and regional food are the starting point of a fun and cultural Indian Night.

Once a year, all undergraduate and master’s tech clubs at IE come together to share knowledge about the current trends in artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cybersecurity, the Internet of things and robotics together with companies such as, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Cabify, Deliveroo, Sephora, Revolut or BCG amongst many others.

Social Responsibility Forum is an interactive space for graduate students and professionals to share knowledge and generate ideas, understand tools and platforms that foster sustainability enlarge relevant networks, connect the dots and map-out future personal contributions. To further cultivate your learning experience, global experts speaking at our panels will offer insight and share knowledge in pioneering change in their sustainability effort as well as advancing our understanding of the mind and skill sets necessary for leadership, decision making and entrepreneurship.
